Chief Executive Officer

Michael (Mike) Ellis assumed the role of CEO of Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC, early in 2016.

Mr. Ellis has more than 34 years of healthcare industry experience with a strong emphasis in the PBM sector, Specialty and Infusion Pharmacy, Health System pharmacies, and 340B operations. Previous roles include Corporate Vice President of Specialty Pharmacy and Infusion at Walgreens, Senior Vice President of Pharma Services and Specialty Contracting at CVS, Senior Vice President of Specialty Trade Relations and Contracting and Pharma Services for CVS/Caremark, and Senior Vice President of Specialty Pharmacy at AdvancePCS.

He received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy from the University of Arkansas.

Mr. Ellis is the immediate past president of the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP). He is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Arkansas Society of Hospital Pharmacists and the Texas Society of Hospital Pharmacists.

Chief Commercial Officer

Eric Wan, MBA, is the Chief Commercial Officer for Maxor National Pharmacy Services and is responsible for leading Sales & Marketing functions across Maxor’s business units including MaxorPlus, Maxor Pharmacies, IV Solutions/Maxor Specialty, and PickPoint.

Eric brings 20 years of Healthcare experience to the team including 16 years with CVS Health in Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Operations leadership roles within PBM, Specialty Pharmacy, Pharmacy Operations, and Care Management business units.

Eric earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Arizona State University and a Bachelors of Business Administration from University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.  

President & Chief Compliance Officer

Carl is the president and a member of the board of directors of Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation. In his role as president, Carl oversees all eight of Maxor’s national divisions

Carl began his career at Maxor in 1978 as a part-time delivery person while attending West Texas State University on a football scholarship. Later on, he enrolled at Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy, during which time he continued his football career. He was a NAIA All-American punter and was signed by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1981. During his NFL career, Carl was named to the All-NFC Rookie Team, led the NFC in punting in 1982, and earned All-Pro honors for the 1983 season.  

After graduating from pharmacy school with honors in 1983, Carl began his pharmacy career with Maxor as a staff pharmacist. He started Maxor’s infusion pharmacy division in 1986, which quickly developed into one of the company’s most successful divisions.

In business, as in athletics, Carl has used a winning combination of teamwork, perseverance and the power of a competitive spirit. As he sees it comes down to being a team player because rarely, if ever, is one individual responsible for success, whether it’s on a football team or in a business. At Maxor, Carl continues to help lead an incredible group of professionals, all working together in a team atmosphere to benefit our clients and our company.

Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer, Gilbert has full responsibility of Maxor's overall financial strategies and operations, providing shared services such as accounting, financial statement preparation, financial planning and analysis, strategic planning and cash management for all operating divisions of Maxor.

Gilbert has over 17 years of experience. Prior to Maxor, he held a number of executive financial and operational roles within MedAssets (NASDAQ:MDAS) and HMS holdings (NASDAQ:HMSY). Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker with JP Morgan (NYSE:JPM) in New York.

Gilbert earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta. He also graduated with honors from Georgia Institute of Technology with Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in engineering.

Executive Vice President, Operations

As executive vice president of operations, Angela oversees all of Maxor’s outpatient pharmacy operations, including hospital, clinic and managed care pharmacies. Her responsibilities include strategic planning; budgeting; monitoring and upholding service obligations; ensuring optimal patient care and customer service; and compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards.

Angela also has extensive experience in pharmacy consulting and 340B pharmacy operations. 

 

Angela’s career with Maxor began in high school when she worked part time at one of the company’s retail stores.  After finishing college, she joined the company on a full-time basis as a national accounts coordinator before eventually being promoted to her current position.  

 

A magna cum laude graduate of Brown University, Angela has degrees in political science and theatre. 

Executive Vice President, MaxorPlus

As executive vice president of MaxorPlus, Steve is responsible for the operational management of Maxor’s pharmacy benefit management division, including customer service, provider relations, claims management, clinical pharmacy operations, systems administration and client services. Steve also works closely with MaxorPlus’ programming and client management personnel to ensure that all client needs are fulfilled.   

Steve began his career at Maxor in 1991 as a staff pharmacist and then shortly after was promoted to pharmacy manager, earning the company’s highest customer satisfaction rating twice. In 1995, Steve was promoted to director of operations for MaxorPlus, responsible for the division’s customer service department, provider relations and claims management.

After serving as director for one year, Steve was promoted to vice president of operations. In this role, Steve was responsible for MaxorPlus’ clinical operations as well as his previous responsibilities. Under Steve’s guidance, operations and infrastructure grew to support the three-fold growth of MaxorPlus over a three-year period. For his efforts, Steve was promoted to senior vice president of MaxorPlus, a title he held until being promoted to his current position in 2003.

Steve is a professional member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the National Council of Prescription Drug Programs.

A graduate of the University of Texas School of Pharmacy, Steve also earned his MBA from West Texas A&M University. He is a general lines insurance agent for life, accident, health and HMO.

Executive Vice President, Specialty & Infusion Services

Maxor Specialty/IV Solutions

Jan serves as Executive Vice President of Specialty and Infusion Services for Maxor National Pharmacy Services. She is responsible for the operational oversight and management for both Maxor Specialty and IV Solutions. A graduate of Wayland Baptist University, Jan has worked for Maxor since 1989.  As a dedicated, results oriented professional, she brings more than 27 years industry experience in healthcare, reimbursement, infusion and specialty pharmacy.

Jan began her career with Maxor as Director of Reimbursement for IV Solutions where she directed and managed the daily oversight of all prior authorization requirements, medical and pharmacy billing processes and accounts receivable activities. Over the years, she has been promoted and held the responsibility for various roles within IV Solutions and Maxor Specialty including Director of Sales/Marketing, Director of Administration & Network Development and Vice President of Managed Care. In 2002, Jan was promoted to Vice President of Operations for Maxor Specialty and IV Solutions. Most recently, in 2016, she was appointed as Maxor’s Executive Vice President for Specialty and Infusion Services. Jan also simultaneously serves as Maxor’s Vice President of Contracting, which includes the direct responsibility for all medical and pharmacy contract negotiations, implementations, credentialing and ongoing contractual compliance for locations nationwide including Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Managed Care and 340B.

Jan is a member of the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and serves on the Innovatix GPO Advisory Group for Clinical and Infusion Services.

Vice President, Correctional Pharmacy Services

As vice president of a national leader in correctional pharmacy services, Deleca oversees the implementation of clinical pharmacy programs that help correctional institutions achieve cost-effective utilization of pharmaceuticals.

Her professional experience gives her the ability to understand the importance of merging both clinical and financial outcomes in the care of patient inmates. 

Prior to joining Maxor more than two decades ago, Deleca served as an ambulatory care clinical practitioner, a geriatric consultant pharmacist and a hospital system’s director of pharmacy services.

Deleca received her doctor of pharmacy from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. She also completed two ASHP-accredited residency programs (pharmacy practice and pharmacy practice management) at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.

Vice President, Maxor Administrative Services

As vice president of Maxor’s newest and first non-pharmacy division, Lori brings more than 18 years experience overseeing all facets of third-party administration operations. Since joining Maxor in 2012, Lori has been responsible for building Maxor Administrative Services (MAS) from the ground up and instilling her customer-focused philosophy throughout the division. 

Lori is a member of National Association of Health Underwriters, Society of Professional Benefit Administrators and the Texas Association of Benefit Administrators. She is currently licensed as a general lines insurance agent for life, accident and health.

Vice President, PickPoint

As vice president of PickPoint, acquired by Maxor in 2011, Kevin oversees the nation’s leading developer of pharmacy technology solutions that dramatically improve the accuracy, safety and efficiency of the medication dispensing process.

After co-founding PickPoint in 2000, Kevin served the company in a variety of ascending executive capacities, including vice president, general counsel and chief operating officer, before being named CEO in 2005. Kevin is a named on PickPoint's
patent for the WCS as well as on all of its pending patent applications.

Prior to founding PickPoint, Kevin worked as an attorney in Silicon Valley, specializing in intellectual property and start-up formation. Kevin graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Francisco, where he served as a research assistant to Professor Thomas McCarthy, a renowned intellectual property scholar and practitioner. He received his bachelor of arts with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Director, Information Technology

As director of information technology, Bryan oversees Maxor’s entire computer and networking infrastructure to ensure it meets the company’s growing business and security needs. 

Bryan began his career at Maxor in 2008, and under his leadership, the IT department has established several IT best practices in the pharmaceutical industry, including ITIL components for Service Desk, Incident Management, Configuration Management and Problem Management as well as PMBOK and CAMP analysis concepts to improve system reliability and delivery, and ultimately the customer experience. 

Prior to joining Maxor, Bryan honed his IT capabilities and managerial skills working for the Department of Energy’s Nuclear Weapons Complex.

In addition to being a certified Six Sigma “yellow” belt, Bryan is a graduate of West Texas A&M University, where he earned a BBA in computer information systems.
